Thank goodness, Desi is not spikey like that. Oh and fun fact: If you ever want to freak my dad out...
threaten to cut a durian in his presence. Terrifies him to no end.
On Sunday I had my very first baby shower. My mom put it together in Olympia for us so that my family down there could partake in the baby festivities easier. We played lots of games and just did the girl chat thing, which was a nice way to spend the day. A big thank you to my mom for putting it together, my grandma for hosting and everyone in general for coming. It was nice to see such support from those that are closest to me. I also got a lot of cute things, so Desi should be styling when he finally makes his appearance. Here are a few pictures from the event:
The spread of goodies
The ladies chatting as they play the "guess what baby item is in the bag" game.
Adam's favorite bib that we have. Can you guess why?
Got a lot of cute outfits. This particular vest is part of a three piece set my grandma gave me.
Mom made each of the guests play a baby food tasting game. No one was thrilled but it was entertaining.
Cutting the cake!
